My Dad knows I'm crazy about beef jerky and sent me this as a gift. I'm halfway through my 6-month membership and I've been very pleased so far. First of all, it's a lot of jerky every month. At first glance, three 4-ounce selections might not sound like that much but, in reality, that's 3/4 of a pound of jerky every month. Trust me when I say it's a lot. Secondly, this is not the same jerky from your local supermarket. It's much higher quality with lots of different and delicious varieties. Yes, there really is such a thing as "gourmet" beef jerky. Lastly, delivery and customer service has been excellent. Always delivered on time and customer service is open 7-days a week to answer questions. They recently helped me re-order one of the jerky selections from last month that I simply had to have more of. All in all, this is a great gift from a company you can trust. They've earned 5 stars from me.
I signed my dad up for Jerky of the Month Club for his birthday. It was really awesome that he got an awesome package of Jerky for the next three months. I don't get to see him very often because I live far away so it was a nice way to let him know I was thinking about him. He was very excited to tell me about the new flavors and brands and it was a good bonding experience.

I gave this club to both of my sons - they loved it! There have been a few funky flavors - I think the fruity ones weren't as well-received as the more traditional savory flavors/smokes. There's not much sharing happening when the boxes arrive - my daughters barely get a whiff when a package gets opened!

Because so many of our gourmet items are perishable, we want your recipient to know exactly when to expect their deliveries. Our shipping schedule is easy to understand: Our deliveries will always arrive the last week of every month.
When you place your order, you'll have several options for sending a gift announcement. Your gift announcement is delivered separately and it's the first thing your recipient receives. It contains your personal message, information about their gift membership, and their delivery schedule. You can choose to have your gift announcement delivered by email or U.S. mail. You can even print a gift announcement using your computer and printer (a great solution for that last-minute gift).
We'll also ask you what month we should begin shipping your gift. If you're shopping during the first half of the month, you'll generally be able to start deliveries the same month. If you're shopping during the last half of the month, your deliveries will generally start the following month. But remember, even if your shipments start the following month, you can still have your gift announcement delivered as early as today. That way your recipient will be notified of their gift membership and receive your personal message right on time

My wife got me this for Christmas, and I have enjoyed it immensely. It's too expensive to purchase for myself, and I think too expensive to be a good idea to buy just for the love of jerky. However, it makes an excellent gift. I do not have a vast selection of jerky by me, a lot of Oberto and generic stuff, and jerky is an expensive food to take chances on ordering from the internet. While I wouldn't normally pay this amount for 3 bags of jerky, every box I have received so far has had a good selection. One or two so far were good enough for me to go out and order more from the producer. If you are having a hard time shopping for someone who likes meat, this is a can't miss gift.
Received the jerky of the month selection. We get 3 different brands each month. You usually get an "original" recipe and then a teriyaki, BBQ, or smoked. Lots of creative jerkys included.
Excellent customer service available 7 days a week. And the jerky is pretty great too!
Gift from my sister. Not really my thing. I've always found jerky to be too spicy/salty. I would have preferred one of the sweet clubs like cookies.
