I'm a New Yorker relocated to Georgia and my parents sent me the bagel club to remind me of home. I just received the first delivery and it was excellent! The bagels were fresh and I enjoyed both varieties (Sweet Pumpkin and Country Wheat Everything). The newsletter was also good. 4 stars for now and I'll come back and update after a few more deliveries!

Because so many of our gourmet items are perishable, we want your recipient to know exactly when to expect their deliveries. Our shipping schedule is easy to understand: Our deliveries will always arrive the last week of every month.
When you place your order, you'll have several options for sending a gift announcement. Your gift announcement is delivered separately and it's the first thing your recipient receives. It contains your personal message, information about their gift membership, and their delivery schedule. You can choose to have your gift announcement delivered by email or U.S. mail. You can even print a gift announcement using your computer and printer (a great solution for that last-minute gift).
We'll also ask you what month we should begin shipping your gift. If you're shopping during the first half of the month, you'll generally be able to start deliveries the same month. If you're shopping during the last half of the month, your deliveries will generally start the following month. But remember, even if your shipments start the following month, you can still have your gift announcement delivered as early as today. That way your recipient will be notified of their gift membership and receive your personal message right on time

I had this club for awhile. I wasn't a fan. They send too different varieties every month and some of the are a little out there (Quinoa Multigrain Bagels?). I'm sure some people are into the different flavors but I'd rather have plain old regular bagels and they don't have an option for that. I called customer service and switched to the wine club.

We just received our first shipment and we are impressed. The bagels are big. We got plain bagels and chocolate chip bagels. I'm glad we will be getting a variety of items each month and we will never get bored!
i've been getting these as a gift for some time now and i'm always happy to receive them. there's a wide variety of flavors you will get and some are seasonal (like pumpkin near halloween). the bagels are fluffy and keep well as long as you refrigerate them right after you get them. my favorite flavors are french toast, egg and onion. you also get a newsletter/recipe with each box, which is a nice addition.
I sent this to my sister and brother-in-law who are displaced New Yorkers who recently moved to Texas. They've received two shipments so far and they say it's one of their favorite gifts ever. They say the bagels are delicious and very fresh. I rate this club 5 stars.
Bagels are a very weird gift. I haven't received mine yet but I'm not hoping for much.
